Dear Ms. Babirye-Alibatya.

It was a pleasure meeting you last Wednesday. I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to explore the possibility of offering guest lectures at your institution. What follows is some information about me.

I am a Professor, Consultant, and Entrepreneur, having been in business most of my life. At New York University, my lecture and workshop "Starting Your Business on a Shoestring" has been given successfully to several thousand students since 1985 (see references from my employer, NYU ) and is considered to be a staple of NYU's career-industry overview offerings. The feedback from students is always very positive (see testimonies from my students), evidenced by repeated registrations. NYU considers me to be the Center's key lecturer in the area of small business environment.

In addition to offering business lectures at NYU School of Continuing Professional Studies, I have taught Applied Practical Philosophy and given several workshops at The Learning Annex in New York City.

In 1998, I was selected as NYU's "Man of the Year" for teaching and lifetime achievements and was the featured speaker at "Profiles of Success: An Evening with Roger Kuperways", which was designed to honor business leaders.

I was invited to lecture on three occasions at the "Pathway to Beauty and Well-Being" conference at the Javits Center in New York, to an audience of more than 1600 attendees.

In August 2011, an article mentioning my lecture "Starting Your Business on a Shoestring" appeared in TIMEOUT NEW YORK magazine describing me as a noted Business Philosopher.

I am currently giving a new lecture called “Going into Business after Retirement” which is very relevant for the baby boomers that are coming into the retirement arena.

I lecture on other topics such as: The Impact of Social Media on Business - Time Management - Identity Theft - Maximizing Performance - Public Speaking - Creating Your Business Plan - Making your Small Business a Winner - Effective Presentations - Do It Now! - Marketing On a Shoestring - Establishing Prices for Services or Products - Raising Capital - How to Make Extra Money using eBay - Cold Calling / Lead Generation - Customer Recovery / Retention - Doing Business in Cyberspace - Moonlighting with Your Computer - Putting Your e-Business on the web - How to be a Successful Consultant - Making Money with Your Computer Skills - Working From Home - Internet Essentials for Executives - Running a One Person Business - Starting Your High-Tech Home Office.

I am looking forward to speaking with you in the near future.
